watching life from the sidelines
dreams sweep thru my blinds
a walk thru the raindrops
i now must take
it is difficult to run in shackles
but what is freedom
when we're frightened by our light
more than our darkness
asking always:
who am i to be loved so
to be forgiven so
to be cherished so
always
instead of
who am i not to be!
it is difficult to run in shackles.
